Vin jaune or aux nuances ambrées, nez flatteur et minéral, quelques notes de fenouil ainsi que de réglisse noir et d’agrumes. Un cru puissant et généreux avec une finale légèrement saline.
Recognised as a Château-Thébaud cru communal since 2019, this wine for laying down expresses the excellence of the typical “Granite Château-Thébaud” terroir, and is grown on the left bank of the Maine. The wine is matured in vats and has been kept on the lees for 54 months without racking, with bâtonnage (lees stirring) every 6 months, which allows the fruit and terroir to develop.
